Will AI kill ghostwriters?
I remember the moment I thought my career was over.
November 30th, 2022.
ChatGPT had just dropped and my Twitter feed was going absolutely mental.
"RIP copywriters."
"Writers are done."
"Why pay humans when AI can do it?"
I'm sitting there at 2pm scrolling through post after post of people celebrating the death of my writers.
My stomach dropped to my ass.
Here I was, finally making decent money as a ghostwriter, and some robot was about to make me as useful as a Blockbuster manager.
I opened ChatGPT and asked it to write a LinkedIn post about entrepreneurship.
What came back was... not total dog shit.
Not amazing. But good enough that I could see clients thinking "Why am I paying this guy $5K a month when I can get this for free?"
I went to bed that night convinced I was f*cked.
But then something funny happened.
I decided to test this thing properly.
I spent the next week watching people try to use ChatGPT for their personal brands.
The results were... painful.
Generic motivational quotes that sounded like they came from a 2015 Gary Vee knockoff.
LinkedIn posts that were so bland they made plain oatmeal look exciting.
Content that was technically "correct" but had zero personality.
That's when it clicked.
See, most people think ghostwriting is just writing.
It's not.
Ghostwriting is like being a music conductor.
You don't play every instrument. You harmonize everything together to create a cohesive masterpiece.
The voice.
The content.
The strategy.
The positioning.
The audience insights.
AI is a tool. A really good one.
But giving someone ChatGPT and expecting them to build a personal brand is like giving them a Ferrari and expecting them to win the Indy 500.
Without knowing how to drive, they're just gonna crash into the wall.
The ghostwriters who are thriving right now aren't avoiding AI.
They're the ones using it as their weapon while still being the conductor of the orchestra.
They're 10x faster. 10x more efficient. And 10x more valuable to clients.
Because at the end of the day, people don't buy content.
They buy results.
And results come from strategy, positioning, and adapting to trends.
Things AI can't do.
The market has never been better for skilled ghostwriters who embrace technology instead of running from it.
While everyone else is panicking about robots, smart ghostwriters are building 6 figure businesses faster than ever before.

P.S.
If you're ready to embrace AI instead of running from it…
I've got a few spots open this week to show you exactly how I'm using AI to help my Growth Ghost members land $3K-$5K clients in the next 90 days.
No tech skills required.
Just strategy, systems, and the balls to bet on yourself.
