How 2 sentences can get you a ton of followers

There's 1 reason why most people fail to grow on social media...

They don't give people a reason to.

Lemme explain...

When someone visits your profile, they're always asking the question, "What's in it for me."

And you only have around 10 seconds to convert a profile visitor into a follower.

This is where you bio comes in.

Your bio is your elevator pitch.

So, if your bio isn't optimized, you're gonna lose out on a ton of followers.

And if you're like me, in the past you tried to be clever with your bio. I referred to myself as a "Dopamine dealer" in my bio at one point.

I mean, WTF even is that?

That's why in today's email, I'm gonna show you how to write a bio that converts eyes into followers.

Now, the biggest mistake people make is talking about themselves too much.

Nobody cares that you like bagels or that your favourite colour is blue.

People want to know “What’s in it for me?”

Don’t be clever or broad. Be direct.

A good bio answers 2 questions:

  1. What value will I get from following you?

  2. Why should I trust you?

Answer question 1 by stating what you talk about or the benefit of following you:

  • “Tweets on X, Y, and Z.”

  • “I talk about X, Y, and Z.”

  • "I help you [insert benefit]

  • “I teach you how to X, Y, and Z.”

Answer question 2 by using social proof:

  • Link to your website

  • Past accomplishments

  • Big goals you’re working on

  • How many people you’ve helped

  • A transformation you went through

Anything that adds credibility to the topic you’re tweeting about.

And that's it.

Nothing too fancy, no secret wordplay. Just straight to the point.

So, my friend, don't overcomplicate it.

Use these frameworks to be direct with the value you provide.

I guarantee you'll convert many more people.

And that's all I got for ya today! Short n' sweet.

Hope this helps you on your journey to become a *que basic white girl voice* micro-influencerrrrrrr.
