She’s everywhere.

Inviting you out on the weekends
Trying to steal your attention.
Yours and mine.
But the woman I’m referring to isn’t… well… a woman…
It’s distraction.
In the movie, The Matrix, there’s a scene where the main character, Neo, is having an important conversation with his mentor, Morpheus.
While walking along the street, a beautiful woman in a red dress passes him.
He diverts his attention away from Morpheus to check her out.

The moment he looks back, there’s a gun to his head.
He took his attention off what was important.
And this relates to life as a creator/business owner.
Every day, our focus is pulled in all different directions.

But there’s one distraction that’s the most destructive of all…
More Money Doesn’t Always Mean More Money
Back in 2022, I was faced with a tough choice…
I was at $30K-$50K months with my ghostwriting agency and always had more leads pouring in.
And I knew I could scale it to $100K+ a month…
But that would mean:
I’d need a big team
I’d need to work more days and longer hours
I’d be a lot more stressed
Now, I don’t know about you…
But I got into online biz because I wanted to have more freedom.
And with each new client I took on, I found myself having less of it.
So I made a hard choice:
Option 1) Continue scaling up the agency.
Option 2) Pursue an opportunity of higher leverage by creating a group consulting offer to my 100K follower audience.
I always loved teaching and knew option 2 would be more aligned with my interests…
But it would come at a hefty price.
To build out the consulting offer, I’d have to:
Turn down new leads
Dedicate a ton of time on the new offer
Pay my operator thousands more per month to handle more of the agency work
Hell, I didn’t even know if this new offer would be a success or completely flop.
But I took a bet on myself and chose to make (much) less money.
I focused on the higher leverage option.
Sure, short term I’d take a hit.
But long term?
The upside was much higher.
So, for the next 4 months, I worked on launching the new offer.
When the day of the launch finally arrived, I was nervous as hell.
Thoughts of doubt raced through my head:
“What if this fails?”
“Did I just waste months working on this?”
“Will I have to make an OnlyFans to make the lost money back?”
But, to my surprise (and relief), the launch was a success.
I made $155,000 in the first month.
Then another $100,000 the next.
I was blown away.
But more importantly, I got killer results for people in the program:

I also learned an important lesson:
Knowing what to focus on is the most important decision you’ll make in business.
That sometimes means you gotta turn down the short-term opportunities that look sexy right now.
And it can be hard because our brain want’s the instant gratification of making money right now.
But you have to remind yourself:
You can’t get the $1,000,000 opportunities if you’re distracted by the $10,000 ones.
Why I’m Turning Down $150,000+
I finished my ghostwriting cohort a couple months ago.
And since I closed enrollment?
I’ve had a good amount of people asking when I’d be opening it back up again…
But once again…
I’ve had to make the decision to turn down the short-term money for the long-term opportunity.
Right now, I’m building out a new offer that’ll be launching soon.
It’ll show you how I:
Scaled to 500,000 follower over 5 different social media platforms
Built a brand that attracts a ton of high-quality leads (rather than wasting endless hours doing outreach)
Monetized my personal brand to hit $10K, $100K, and even $200K months
…and a lot more.
The whole aim of this new offer is to get you results like this I’ve gotten for previous clients:

I’ve been putting in a ton of work and I’m excited to be sharing more details soon.
But with that being said…
Happy Thursday, hope you have a kickass day.
