How to sell stuff people want to pay money for

It's stupidly simple, but it works

I have no fucking idea what I’m doing.

Yup, that’s right.

Recently, I’ve been transitioning out of my ghostwriting agency and working on a done-with-you offer.

Put simply:

Instead of growing and monetizing people’s social media, I’m going to show them how to do it.

Basically, a teacher assigning homework.

And admittedly, I haven’t been this lost in a while.

I’ve been getting input from all kinds of people and each one of them has a different opinion on what I should do.

• Do a cohort

• Create a course

• Start a low-ticket community

• Start a high-ticket community

Truthfully, I’ve got analysis paralysis.

There’s so many options, I don’t know which to pursue.

It’s lead to me wasting hours researching different options and stressed about what path to pursue.

But fortunately, I’ve had mentors many steps ahead of me offer solid advice.

Validate before you build.

What does this mean?

Well, if you’re like me, you want everything you sell to be “perfect.”

Because of this, you’ll spend hours upon hours working on a product or service for future customers/clients.

But there’s only one problem…

How do you know what you’re building is solving the problems of the people you’re trying to serve?

Well, it’s so simple it seems stupid…

Talk to the people you’re trying to serve.

For example, I taking on free consultations with coaches, freelancer, and consultants doing $10K+/month who are looking to scale.

On these calls, I’m going to ask about their:

• Desires

• Lifestyle

• Pain points

Give them free advice while also using the data they gave me to craft an offer that solves their pains and gets them to their desired result.

So when I craft my offer, I’m not wasting time creating stuff I *think* they want.

I’m crafting an offer specifically designed to overcome their struggles and deliver the result they *actually* want.

See how much more effective that’ll be?

So, before you create a product or service, talk to the market you want to serve.

This will give you a clear roadmap and prevent hours of wasted time creating something people don’t care about.

That’s all I got for ya today, my friend.

P.S.

Are you a coach, consultant, or freelancer doing $10K+/month?

If you’re looking to add $10K-$30K per month to your business by growing your social media, you can book a free consultation with me here:

I will not sell you on anything. I’m only doing market research.

If you’re NOT doing $10K+/month, please don’t book.
