Reading is a scam for many people.

They think they’re learning…

But in reality?

They’re mentally masturbating.

Now look, I sure in the hell ain’t the brightest bulb in the shed…

But the reason I was able to go from a broke Dominos pizza driver to hitting $30,000-$50,000 months with ghostwriting starting is because I realized 1 thing…

3 years ago, I started my posting content on social media.

For the first 10 months, I posted content daily but never made a single dollar.

Because I kept telling myself:

“I’ll read one more book, then I’ll be ready to reach out to build my business.”

But at the end of each book I read, I told myself “Just 1 more book and I’ll be ready.”

Sure, it looked cool to have a stack of books on my wall that made me look smart.

But the harsh truth?

I hadn’t learned shit.

Because if I did, I would have taken action on what I read.

And in all honesty?

The reason I hopped from book to book was because I was scared.

Scared that I would have to face the reality of doing hard things and failing.

• Building a business

• Reaching out to clients

• Hopping on sales calls

But the moment my trajectory changed was the summer of 2021.

I made a big decision.

I invested in my first mentor.

And today, 3 years later, I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I ever made.

Because I was no longer only accountable to myself, but also to my mentor.

Knowing that I had someone on the other side who’d hold me accountable made me get my ass in gear.

And after a few months of taking action, lo and behold, I started to see results.

I landed a $3K/month client, then a $5K/month client, then another $3K/month client with ghostwriting.

So, I just wanna level with you…

I know it feels good to read a book a week so you can look super sophisticated with your stack of books in the background of your Zoom calls.

But the reality?

At a certain point reading becomes a form of procrastination.

Because if you’re like I was, you tell yourself “1 more book” and you’ll be ready.

• Ready to start the online business

• Ready to post on social media

• Ready to quit their job

But here’s the uncomfortable truth…

The dumb person who takes action will always get farther ahead than the giga genius who sits around consuming information all the time.

You need to apply the lesson from 1 chapter, not read anther book.

So, I encourage you to take a cold hard look at what you’re trying to achieve.

Is reading another book the solution?

Or do you just need to apply what you already know?
