No time to build your brand? Do this...
Lemme guess—you’re juggling 69 different things at once.
And somewhere between:
Work
Family
Trying to get 5 minutes of peace
You’re thinking:
“How the hell am I supposed to find time to build a personal brand?”
Look, I get it.
I’ve posted content every day for 1,442 days (but who’s counting?).
And while I don’t have kids (none that I know of, at least), I’ve still managed to:
Travel to 13 countries
Hit the gym like it’s a religion
Have a handful degenerate adventures
Scale my brand on 5 different platforms
Build my ghostwriting agency to $30K-$50K months
And no, I didn’t unlock some secret 25th hour in the day.
The real difference?
Systems.
Because here’s the harsh truth:
“I don’t have time” is just a nicer way of saying “I don’t have a system.”
When you don’t have a system, every single task feels like an uphill battle.
You’re reinventing the wheel every day, scrambling for content ideas, and wasting time on stuff that doesn’t move the needle.
And guess what?
That’s exactly why you feel burned out, overwhelmed, and stuck.
But picture this instead:
Content creation takes half the time because you’re using proven frameworks instead of starting from scratch every time.
You’re no longer scrambling for ideas because you’ve got a repeatable system that churns out engaging content like clockwork.
You’re converting followers into clients consistently because your messaging is clear, and your brand is positioned as an authority.
You’ve eliminated time-wasting busywork by automating and batching tasks, freeing up hours each week to focus on high-value activities.
You’re no longer stressing about finding new clients because your system is set up to bring in leads on autopilot, turning your audience into paying customers.
How I Create Systems
Step 1: Get Clear on the End Goal
Before you start creating any system, ask yourself:
“What’s the specific outcome I want to achieve?”
Whether it’s doubling your client list or scheduling your social media posts for the week, you’ve got to have a target.
Because if you’re not aiming for something, you’re just going to wander aimlessly like that guy who always says “I’ll start tomorrow.”
Sure you will, Brad…sure you will.
Example from my new course + community:

Step 2: Break It Down Into Bullets
Once you’ve got your goal, list out the main steps to get there.
Think of this as the skeleton of your system.
These are the big moves that will get you from Point A to Point B.
You’re not worrying about details here—just the core steps that’ll make it happen.
Example from my new course + community:

Step 3: Make Micro-Steps (What, Why, How)
Now, you’re going deeper.
For each big step, break it down further into micro-steps:
What: What exactly needs to be done here?
Why: Why is this step crucial?
How: How do you do it, step by step?
Make it idiot-proof.
That way, not only will it make it easy for you to follow…
But when you’re ready to delegate the task, no one screws it up.
Example from my new course + community:

Step 4: Make a Recording and Delegate (If Possible)
Here’s where you start buying back your time.
If the task can be delegated, make a quick video explaining the steps while you do it.
Then, had the repetitive task off to a virtual assistant.
Give them feedback after each time they perform the task until they can do it without help.
There you have it boys and girls—a simple system for creating systems.
The best part?
You can implement this right now with anything you’re working on.
Figure out your goal, map the steps, and either do it yourself or make it someone else’s problem.
Hope this helps.
