My mom fondled wieners for money

“You can’t beat my meat!”

That was my mom’s slogan for her hot dog cart business.

She sure in the hell wasn’t shy, but she sure was business savvy.

And to this day, I credit her for inspiring me to start my business.

But she wasn’t born an entrepreneur…

When I was a kid, she worked 2 jobs as a waitress to keep food on our table and a roof over our heads.

She grinded her ass off just to survive.

Then in her 40s, something clicked.

She got tired of being broke.

  • Tired of working for pennies while her bosses got rich.

  • Tired of having no control over her life.

So she started her own business.

  • No degree.

  • No fancy MBA.

  • No startup capital.

Hell, she was a high school dropout.

But my mom had something most people didn’t:

The balls to start.

It started small and scrappy.

She'd buy snacks in bulk and resell them on the side of the road.

(Cops quickly shut her down for not having a permit).

Now, most people would've quit right there.

"See, I told you this business stuff doesn't work."

But my mom?

  • She just figured out how to get a damn permit.

  • She upgraded her plastic table to a hot dog cart.

  • She bought a busy corner for her biz downtown.

Soon, she made enough to pay for the spot and have some left over.

Then she saw the real opportunity:

Late night crowds stumbling out of nightclubs, drunk and hungry.

She'd work until 3 AM serving overpriced hot dogs to people who didn't give a damn about the price.

Over the next 2 years, she scaled to 4 spots outside the busiest nightclubs in town.

By the time I was in high school, she was pulling in more money than her old bosses at the restaurant.

0 credentials. 0 experience. 0 excuses.

My mom taught me one of the most important lessons of my life:

You don’t need to a perfect plan, years of experience, or to feel “ready”.

Just start and figure it out as you go.

The same way you'll figure out online biz by actually doing it.

  • Not by reading another blog post.

  • Not by waiting for the "perfect time."

  • And no, not by reading another one of my newsletters.

If you're sitting there thinking you need more experience, more followers, or more skills before you can start your business...

You're using the same excuses that keep most people broke.

My mom could've stayed at those waitressing jobs forever.

"Safe" and "secure" and miserable.

Instead, she bet on herself.

And that bet changed everything for our family.

The question isn't whether you're “ready.”

The question is whether you're willing to start.

P.S.

I can’t help you sell wieners, but I can help you build a ghostwriting biz.
