How wieners helped me land an $11K client

“You can’t beat my meat!”

That was my mom’s slogan for her hotdog cart.

She started her business when I was around 9-years-old. And throughout the years, she taught me a few marketing tricks

But there’s one in particular that’s the most powerful one I still use today.

For years, my mom sold hot dogs downtown during the day.

The business was steady, predictable, and she'd make around $200 a day.

Then one day, she had an insight that changed everything:

She moved her cart outside nightclubs from 10pm-3am.

  • Same service.

  • Same big wieners.

  • Same business model.

The only difference?

Who she sold to.

Instead of competing for lunchtime dollars, she was now serving hungry partygoers at 1 AM who had few other options.

Quite literally, a "starving crowd."

And her earnings?

Immediately jumped to $400-600 per night.

This simple shift taught me what I now consider the golden rule of marketing:

Success isn't just about what you're selling, but who you're selling to.

That's how I was able to land $3K, $10K, and $30K ghostwriting clients.

So ask yourself:

Where’s your starving crowd?

Who needs your solution so badly they'll gladly pay a premium for it?

Sometimes you don't need to change your offer, just who you're offering it to.

P.S.

Yesterday I landed an $11,000 client for LinkedIn ghostwriting.

All because I marketed to the right audience.

If you want to learn ghostwriting from people who are actually ghostwriting today (not teaching outdated tactics that worked 4 years ago)…
