How to get thousands of followers from your threads

In this email, I'm going to show you how I get 10s of thousands of likes and thousands of followers from threads consistently and predictably.

Over the past 14 months, I've written 100+ threads for myself and ghostwriting clients. In that time, I've figured out the details of what makes threads and tweets go viral. I've even developed a secret formula.

Unfortunately, 99% of people on Twitter miss one or all these pieces I'm going to share with you.

Your threads fail because you're missing one of these 4 components...

• Your threads don't have a benefit

• Your threads don't have relevance

• Your threads don't have reach

• Your threads require a lot of effort

But don't worry, I'm going to break down each of these briefly for you.

Here's how to go viral, step by step:

Step 1: Make your thread benefit oriented

A benefit is the value your reader gets from reading your thread.

Will your thread make them more money? Will it show them how to become confident? How about how to become a better parent?

If you need ideas on benefits people care about, Google Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. These are the main desires humans strive for.

Step 2: Make your thread relevant

The relevance is how well your topic matches the desires of your audience.

I could have an amazing thread on how to write better, but if I have an audience filled with bodybuilders, they probably won't care. You need to understand who you are writing for and create content for them.

Step 3: Increase the reach of your thread

This is one of the most important parts. Your reach is how many people can see your thread.

You can have the perfect thread, but if nobody sees it, it's going to fail. Trust me, I know how frustrating it can be to try and get momentum when you have less than a few thousand followers. The way I overcame this challenge early on - and how I go viral on every thread now - is by 2 ways.

1) Trading retweets.

Find other creators on Twitter that are a similar follower count and have good content. Hit them up and get to know them. Then, ask them if they'd be interested in trading retweet for retweet. Or you can join an engagement group where all of this is handled for you. The only good one I'd recommend is this one that I used early on.

2) Buying retweets.

This is method costs money but it's much faster and 10x more effective. If you're willing to invest in your growth, it's 100% worth it.

Basically, you find accounts with a large following and solid engagement on their tweets and threads. Shoot them a message on Twitter but don't mention that you want to buy retweets. Twitter has banned people in the past for this because it's against their terms of service.

Instead, hint that you want to buy them and get their Telegram account name so you can discuss it on there. Once you have their Telegram, ask them what their prices are. On average, you can expect to pay between $15 to $50 a retweet depending on the account size and how good their engagement is.

Step 4: Decrease the perceived level of effort

Perceived level of effort is how easy your thread is to understand. This includes how simple the language is and how easy the concept is.

Think about it... there's thousands of tweets on the timeline. You're competing for attention. People are lazy, so the more difficult you make it for them, the more likely they're going to scroll past to the next tweet that is easy and gives them dopamine.

Use easy words that anyone can understand and keep your ideas simple. If a 12 year old wouldn't understand, rewrite it.
