How to generate 100 profitable ideas in the next 30 minutes

The secret to kickass content

Generating Unlimited Ideas

Social media has changed since I started.

It’s become a lot more crowded with people competing for attention.

Which means people are used to seeing the same ideas over and over.

And because of this, it’s harder stand out.

So, what’s the solution?

Better ideas.

The more unique and relevant ideas you can have, the better.

So, I’ll

And read until the end, because I’ll show you how you can turn your ideas into a cash-flowing creator business (for free).

The Chat-GPT Method

Oh noooooo.

Not the big bad Chat GPT.

It’s supposed to make us writers extinct!!!

Well, turns out, it’s an amazing tool for writers. One that’ll open up more opportunities, not fewer.

I’m still learning the platform, but one useful method I’ve been using:

  1. Log onto Chat GPT

  2. Type in “List out the biggest pain points for [whatever niche] in bullet point form.”

  3. Once generated, I’ll then say “Now list out actionable pieces of advice that solve each problem.”

Boom.

You have the idea.

Now all you gotta do is write it in a sexy way.

The YouTube Method

One of my favourite ways to generate ideas is by using YouTube.

Why?

Unlike every other social media platform, a good part of people go on YouTube to solve their problems.

They’re actively looking for how to do something.

And remember, if you’re the bridge from pain to desire, you’re valuable.

This method is simple:

  1. Log on YouTube and type in [your niche] tips.

  2. Look at the top channels that come up and click on the ones with the most views.

  3. Chances are, the channel is dedicated to that niche. Filter their videos by “Most Popular.”

  4. Their most viewed videos will give you an idea of what ideas are interesting to your target audience.

  5. Take the big ideas behind the videos, research the topic, and write about it in your own way.

The Monk Method

One of the best things you can do is practice presence.

Every day, you have thousands of thoughts running through your head.

That’s thousands of pieces of content.

But because we’re not present, they slip past us.

But from now on, I want you to think of yourself as an observer.

Observe what’s going on in your head.

Observe what’s going on in your environment.

When something interesting pops up, write it down in a notes app. Even if you think it’s not that interesting.

You’d be surprised what you can turn into content later.

I want you to make it a goal to find noteworthy thought from your day and write it down.

You don’t have to publish it.

Just store it somewhere.

It can be one sentence or one paragraph. The important thing is that you find one thought from your day to write down.

This will train your brain to view your life through the lens of a creator.

After a few weeks of this, you’ll find infinite ideas from your everyday life to turn into content.

These are the best ideas you can come up with because they can’t be replicated. They’re your experience, story, and worldview.

This is the content that makes you interesting.

The Audible Method

Another one of my favourites.

If you’re busy like me, it's hard to find time to read.

So, a convenient way to read is by consuming audible books while you’re doing anything low effort:

  • Driving

  • Walking

  • Washing dishes

While doing these activities, listen to books you find interesting.

The more inputs you can draw from, the more you can connect unrelated ideas and create original ones.

DO NOT let your ideas pass.

Unless you’re driving, take notes of all the interesting thoughts that come up. Store them in a folder.

The Infinite Idea Matrix

Now, ladies and gents, prep the drumroll…

This method is the best way to come up with ideas.

Hands down.

It’s so good I had to come up with a fancy-sounding name for it.

It follows these steps:

  1. Get a Kindle and read books about the topics you wanna talk about on Twitter

  2. Highlight the interesting and actionable parts

  3. Sync your Kindle with the Readwise app

  4. Whenever you need ideas, look through your Readwise highlights

You can take this one step further and sync Readwise with the app, Napkin.one.

Napkin uses AI to connect your different notes to help you generate new ideas.

Napkin also acts as a note-taking app for random thoughts, not just something that syncs with Readwise (no, I’m not affiliated with Napkin).

Turning Your Content into Cash

Now, what do you do with these ideas?

And more importantly…

How do you make money with them?

Well, my friend, Kieran Drew gave me permission to give you access to his free online video course.

It’ll show you step-by-step in simple terms, how to build an online creator business.

Kieran has built a massive following of 150,000 followers and generated over $100,000 in the past year.

If you’re interested in learning how he’s done it, he’ll be breaking down how you can do the same.

Again, it’s free.

But there ya have it, my friend.

Hope this helps.

Much love.

Your Canadian friend,

Dakota “Sometimes I Have Good Ideas” Robertson
