How to charge more (and work less)

Don't be better, become the only

Lemme ask you a simple question:

What’s the difference between a $10 black Walmart T-shirt and a $100 black Gucci T-shirt?

  • Same style…

  • Same design…

  • Same child sweatshop making them…

So why does one cost 10x more?

Simple:

Branding.

Gucci could slap their logo on a plain potato sack and sell it for $1,000.

Walmart?

They’re lucky if you don’t ask for a discount at checkout.

Now, here’s the harsh truth:

If you’re a solopreneur, coach, or freelancer…

You’re are a dime a dozen.

You’re a commodity, not a brand.

And that’s why clients treat you like one.

Why You’re Just Another “Commodity” to Your Clients

Let’s be real here:

  • You’re working with low-ticket clients who’d drop you in a heartbeat if they found someone else to do the job for $5 less

  • You’ve got a stack of unpaid invoices that clients conveniently “forgot”

  • And every time you try to raise your rates, clients react like you just asked for their firstborn

It’s because, in their eyes, you’re replaceable.

They see you as just another service provider.

No different than the 100 other freelancers they found in a desperate Google search at 2 AM.

You’re the $10 Walmart T-shirt in a sea of identical T-shirts.

And as long as you keep playing that game, clients will keep ghosting you, underpaying you, and treating you like an afterthought.

But here’s the good news…

You can flip the script.

You can be the $100 Gucci T-shirt in your industry.

How I Landed $25K Deals 1 Year After Starting My Business

This is a screenshot of a DM I got from someone who wanted to work with me awhile back.

Just a few messages in and he was already agreeing to pay me $25K.

The reason?

I positioned myself as a premium brand with a premium offer.

AKA: I was a Full Stack Creator.

A Full Stack Creator is when you:

  1. Become proficient at a skill

  2. Build your personal brand

  3. Stack on complementary skills

As your audience and skill set grows?

So does your leverage (and your income).

Lemme explain…

1. Build Your Personal Brand

Gucci isn’t selling a T-shirt; they’re selling an identity.

When you build a personal brand, you’re no longer just offering a service…

You’re offering authority and expertise.

People pay more for that.

Clients will come to you, not because you’re the cheapest, but because they know they can’t get what you offer anywhere else.

2. Stack Your Skills

If all you have is one skill, congratulations, you’re one of a million.

Want to stand out?

Stack your skills.

Be the freelancer who doesn’t just write copy, but understands strategy, conversion, and audience psychology.

Be the coach who doesn’t just motivate, but can build systems, optimize processes, and create long-term growth.

When you stack complementary skills, you become a category of one.

And when you’re one of one?

Clients can’t compare you with anyone else, which leads to a lineup waiting for your offer.

3. Stop Competing on Price

Here’s the ugly truth:

As long as you’re positioning yourself based on price, you’ll always be Walmart.

There’s always someone willing to work for less.

But when you build a personal brand and stack your skills, you’re no longer competing on price.

You’re competing on value.

And value means you get to set the price.

Why Clients Will Chase You (Not the Other Way Around)

Once you’ve built a brand that screams authority and stacked your skills to become the “Gucci” of your industry, something magical happens:

Clients chase YOU.

  • You stop begging for work

  • You stop accepting lowball offers just to pay the bills

  • You stop wondering where the next paycheck is coming from

Clients see your brand, your unique skill set, and they don’t even question your rates.

In fact, they’re happy to pay more because they know they’re getting something they can’t find anywhere else.

It’s the difference between being a commodity and being a premium service provider.

It’s the difference between being ghosted by clients and having a waiting list.

It’s the difference between being the $10 Walmart T-shirt and the $100 Gucci T-shirt.

And here’s the best part:

You don’t need to be the best to charge premium prices.

You just need to position yourself as different.

So, go out and start stacking, my friend.

My new community, Full Stack Creator, will be launching on October 1st.

In it, I’ll show you everything you need to know to become a Full Stack Creator (if it wasn’t obvious by the name).

If you want to get first access to it when it drops, at the lowest price possible…
