The 3 secrets for crafting an attractive Twitter profile
Today I'm going to share a quick trick I use to grow on Twitter. All by making "mistakes."
Today, I'm going to explain how you can get you thousands more Twitter followers by crafting an attractive profile in 5 minutes.
Just like Tinder, your profile is what determines if someone follows you (or swipes right). It's what separates those who gain thousands of followers every month from those who gain 11.
Unfortunately, 95% of people on Twitter have no clue what makes for a good profile. Lucky for you though, by the end of this email you'll know exactly what to do.
Lemme show ya.
You don't lack value, you just don't know how to show it...
Whenever someone looks at your profile, they're always asking themselves "What's in it for me?" If you don't give someone a good reason to like you within 10 seconds, you'll soon be a distant memory.
You'll mess up your profiles if:
You don't show status
You have horrible pictures
You don't give people a reason to interact
But, lucky for you, these are an easy fix.
Here's how, step by step:
Step 1: Show status
Status shows people that you're valued in society. This makes you more desirable to others.
You can show status a number of ways on your Twitter profile. Do you own a company?Did you work at a well-known company?
How many people have you helped? Have you made clients a large amount of $$$? If you have any noteworthy accomplishment, put it in your bio.
And if you don't?
Go out and get an accomplishment worth writing about.
Step 2: Get a high-quality profile picture
The first thing people judge is your profile picture. As humans, we're attracted to faces, so it's ideal to have one as your picture. You'll be perceived as more likeable and trustworthy. This is the easiest part to screw up (and fix).
If your profile picture is blurry or low-quality, you need to change it. If your picture is crappy, they'll associate your brand as a whole to be crappy.
Many of the best accounts on Twitter have gotten professionally taken photos. Look online and get one taken for $50. Or if you have a phone with a high-quality camera use that.
Use good lighting, try not to look pissed off, and clearly show your face. You'll see a dramatic increase in engagement when you go from a crappy picture to a great one.
Step 3: Give them a reason to interact
People want to associate with others that'll bring them value. This is where your bio comes in.
Why should people follow you? Do you solve a pain or fulfill a desire?
Put yourself in the readers shoes and give them a solid reason why.
Look at Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs to get a good idea of what people want. Craft your bio around that.
If you're stuck, use the format: "I help [type of person] get [desired result] without [burden]"
Example:
"I help busy entrepreneurs lose fat and build muscle without going to the gym 7 days a week."
