I didn't want to write this...
I don’t feel like writing today.
I woke up at 3am.
Slammed pre-workout.
And been working all day.
But today is Thursday.
And I’ve never missed a single newsletter since starting 2 years ago…
So here I am: writing.
Now, am I going to drop a mind blowing growth hack for social media in this newsletter?
Nope.
Am I gonna solve world hunger?
Nah.
But am I going to show up and write this newsletter?
Yup.
Because in the past 4 years I’ve been creating content, I can say with 100% certainty, the biggest difference between the successful and the failures comes down to 1 thing:
Consistency.
And yeah, I know, I sound like a 50-year-old self-help guru who’s having a mid life crisis and suddenly needs to yell motivational quotes on TikTok.
“Just be consistent, bro!!!”
But damnit, that sexless 50-year-old guru is right.
Because once you miss one day, it’s easy to say “I’ll do it tomorrow.”
Then tomorrow turns into next week.
Then next week turns into next month…
Then blah blah blah.
Whether it’s the gym, posting content, or getting your daily dose of Peruvian pelvic thrust exercises, you need to show up.
Even if you’re like me today, and not at your best.
Because when you show up regardless of feelings, you adopt the identity of the pro.
The pro shows up, rain or shine, tired or energized.
And over time, that’s what compounds into something great.
Okay I’m tired, good night.
