- $10 per hour or $10,000 per hour?
$10 per hour or $10,000 per hour?
What is your time worth?
No, not how much you make per hour.
How much is your time actually worth?
It’s a simple question, but nobody takes the time to think about it.
And this is the reason why they’re not able to make:
$200/hour
$1,000/hour
$10,000+/hour
Lemme explain what I mean with a quick story…
My doctor retired because of Parkinson's disease.
So a few months back when I had to get a prescription, I drove to the walk-in clinic.
And me being the big brain IQ guy I am?
I arrived to the clinic right when they opened up at 8am to avoid long wait times.
But the line of 20 people outside the walking clinic made me realize I was not the super genius my mom told me I was growing up.
Standing in line would have been a 2 hour wait.
So being the bigger brain IQ guy I am…
I pulled out my phone to see if there was an option to get a prescription online.
To my surprise, there was an app which did just that.
For $70, I got:
Connected with an online doctor
Prescribed what I needed
My prescription faxed to the nearest pharmacy
All within 15 minutes.
Now, some might think paying $70 to see an online doctor instead of using the free Canadian healthcare system is a waste of money.
But as someone who grew up without much money, I can tell you, this is the reason why most people stay broke…
They don’t value their time.
The only value they assign to their time is when when their employer is paying them their hourly rate.
But what about the invisible variable they don’t factor into the equation?
This Is Costing You $10,000/Month
Opportunity cost.
How are you going to make $10,000+ a month when you’re working on $10/hour tasks?
Sure, in the short term you might save money.
But long term?
You're setting yourself up for a financial plateau, or worse, a decline.
This is where the concept of opportunity cost really kicks in.
Opportunity cost is the potential benefits you miss out on when you choose one option over another.
So, when you're spending your time on low-value tasks, you're not just saving (or earning) $10 an hour, you're also losing out on the opportunity to earn much more.
Think about it…
If you're spending 8 hours a day on tasks that could be outsourced or automated for a fraction of your potential earning power, you're effectively capping your income.
You're stuck in a cycle where your time equals a fixed amount of money, with 0 room for growth.
But what if you flipped the script?
What if you started valuing your time at $100 an hour, or even $1000 an hour?
What would you stop doing?
What would you start doing?
Successful entrepreneurs don't clean their own house, not because they can't, but because they understand their time is better spent on high-value activities to grow their business.
They focus on learning, networking, and other high-leverage activities with the potential to compound their income.
Now, I'm not saying you should go out and hire a bunch of people to do everything for you.
But I am saying that you need to think about the value of your time in a different way.
Start small.
Identify tasks that are low value and see if there are ways to automate, outsource, or eliminate completely.
Use the time you save to focus on activities with the potential to generate more income.
Ready To Make Your First $10,000 Online?
3 years ago, 10 months into my online business journey, I was faced with 2 choices:
1) Keep trying to learn everything on my own
2) Invest money into a coach to fast track my process
At the time, I was making $0 and living off savings.
But I knew if I wanted to hit $10,000/month, I needed to start valuing my time a lot higher.
By investing in a coach, I knew it would shortcut my content and online business progress by at least 1 year.
So, I chose option 2.
The result?
3 months later, I launched my ghostwriting offer and hit my first $11,000 month.
That was the moment I realized everything was really possible.
I could work the laptop lifestyle.
Travel wherever I want, live wherever I want, and do work that was meaningful.
And now I want to offer you the same choice I made 3 years ago.
After months of being closed, I am opening up my cohort again.
In it, I’ll fast track the entire process of growing your social media and making money with ghostwriting.
I’m so confident you’ll see results, I have a guarantee in place that you’ll make $10,000 within 6 months of starting.
But, I am limiting spots to 100 people.
Once spots are gone, they’re gone.
